Project Overview
Seagate is a 15 story condo on Longboat key built originally in the 70’s. By 2020 it was time for a major exterior face lift. The architect and structural engineer developed a program to replace all the exterior windows, with much more modern elements, re-faced the entire exterior dramatically improving the look and also improving the water integrity of the skin. Existing windows and fenestration we well past their useful life and we leaking. The new look improved the image so much that people stopped in and asked “when did they build a new building here?” The sequence of operations to re-skin and re-window the façade was developed so that full occupancy could be maintained during the 1 year construction period.
